Top KDF officials intercepted in Marsabit smuggling Cannabis into the country

State officers busted transporting bhang into the country!

State officers working in the army were reportedly busted smuggling cannabis into the country from Ethiopia.

A major and a corporal from the Kenya Defense Forces KDF were driving in a black Prado when they were cornered during the Sunday March 22 morning incident

REF MY OB NO. 8/22/3/2020 AT AROUND 0540HRS OFFICERS FROM ODDA POLICE BARRIER AND MULTY AGENCY TEAM WERE ON ROUTINE DUTIES ACTING ON INTELLIGENCE, INTERCEPTED A MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION NO KCS 210L MAKE TOYOTA PRADO BLACK IN COLOUR DRIVEN BY NO.94280 CPL MUNENE MARTIN OF KDF HEADQUARTERS COMPANY BASED AT NAIROBI ACCOMPANIED BY NO. 130559 MAJOR PETER MURIITHI OF 7KA FORMERLY OC ODDA MILITARY CAMP MOYALE AND CURRENTLY BASED AT BOTHEY AND UPON CONDUCTING SEARCH THEY WERE FOUND CARRYING A HUGE CONSIGNMENT OF CANNABIS WHICH IS YET TO BE ASCERTAINED AFTER DOCUMENTATION. A similar incident was witnessed in January this year when 13 illegal immigrants from Ethiopia traveling in Prado were arrested with 20 kilograms of Bhang in Kirinyaga County.
