After Rift Valley leaders handed over their Building Bridges Initiative report to the BBI team claiming they could not hand it over to Mr. Odinga, a Raila man has ‘badly’ hit them hard.

Last Friday, the legislators from the expansive Rift region claimed that they could not consult ODM leader Raila Odinga on the referendum issues. They even went ahead to call him a ‘total stranger’.

“Rift Valley Governor’s today handed over their recommendations to the BBI team. I had said here earlier we will not deal with a stranger,” wrote the vocal Soy MP Caleb Kositany in his sharp tweet.

Immediately and in a sharp rejoinder, ODM’s Communication team led by Philip Etale touched their raw nerves. Etale hit back telling the lawmakers to accept the fact the whether they give it to Mr. Odinga or not, the report will be passing through his hand on Monday.

Etale mocked the leaders who thought they had managed to evade Mr. Odinga saying finally the next man to receive it will be Mr. Odinga who will then discuss it with President Uhuru Kenyatta. And that was the order of things today!
